Asset Manager

Utility-scale solar and/or storage experience

Atlanta - remote with monthly travel

Viridan Group has partnered with a market-leading impact investment firm looking for an experienced Asset Manager to join their team, working remotely with monthly trips to the office - either in Atlanta or St Louis.

Backed by a strong track record in low-income housing, this is a unique opportunity to join a small, high-caliber team and help shape foundational asset management processes from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee performance and operations of utility-scale solar + BESS projects
• Shape AM process and standards for a rapidly growing platform
• Interface with internal teams, investors, and partners
• Manage tax equity investments and tax credit transfer deals across the solar, wind, storage, and renewable natural gas sectors
• Build complex financial models to evaluate renewable energy investments
• Conduct due diligence on projects, including review of legal, technical, and financial documents
• Assist in the structuring and negotiation of tax equity and credit transfer deals
• Work with the acquisition and due diligence teams to transition projects post-closing to asset management
• Tax Returns and Financial Statements: Coordinate with third parties on delivery of financial statements and tax returns.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in renewable energy project finance
• Background in developer/IPPs, tax equity investors, or similar platforms
