Under the administrative supervision of the Chief Human Resources Officer or designated administrator, provide and lead the training and development initiatives across our university system, comprised of UNH, PSU, KSC and the system office. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing employee skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and supporting the professional growth of staff members across all campuses. Duties/Responsibilities include: Training Strategy and Program Development, Collaboration and Alignment with HR leaders and institutional executives, Training Program Management including leadership development, compliance training, technical skills training, and onboarding programs, Learning Management System (LMS) management and optimization, Evaluation and Continuous Improvement of training programs using metrics and KPIs, Compliance and Policy Adherence, Leadership Development and succession planning, Partnership with Recruiting team to build a talent pipeline, Employee Engagement to promote a culture of learning and development, and active engagement with all HR teams to cultivate an environment of growth. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Higher Education Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred), and at least five years of progressive experience in training and development roles within higher education or complex organizations, including 3 years in leadership and LMS management. Other requirements include strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and experience working with diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. Preferred qualifications include experience with Workday, instructional design principles, learning assessment tools, and multimedia training platforms.
