About Our Client Our client is a
renowned global automaker with a strong reputation for
quality, innovation, and safety . We've proudly partnered with them for over
three decades , providing expert support in
ergonomics, project safety, and occupational hygiene at multiple facilities across North America.
Job Summary We are seeking a
full-time robotics and automotive engineer to work closely with our
partnering client's production engineering, design, and manufacturing teams in their
automotive manufacturing facility in Georgetown, KY . This role focuses on
robot and PLC programming, equipment installation, and troubleshooting electrical control systems in the
body weld shop .
What You'll Do: Online and Offline Robot & PLC Programming - Work hands-on with advanced automation systems.
Equipment Installation & Safety Checks - Ensure all systems meet industry standards.
Model Changes & Production Support - Adapt and optimize machinery for new models.
Troubleshooting & Electrical Systems - Diagnose and resolve shop-floor challenges.
Training & Collaboration - Guide maintenance teams in setting up and refining equipment.
Travel Opportunities - Support projects across
North America (USA, Canada, and Mexico), with possible travel to
Japan .
What We're Looking For: Engineering degree OR equivalent hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or controls.
All experience levels welcome! (From fresh graduates to experienced professionals).
Strong technical skills in robotics, automation, and electrical troubleshooting. Flexibility to travel (50% of the time), including immediate travel if required. A proactive, problem-solving mindset - We're looking for go-getters!
